Position: A Level Biology Teacher

Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable A Level Biology Teacher to join our international school team. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the Cambridge A-Level Biology curriculum, encouraging students to explore biological systems, scientific research, and real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Biology lessons aligned with Cambridge A-Level standards.
• Teach core topics including cell biology, genetics, ecology, physiology, and biotechnology.
• Design and oversee laboratory experiments and practical work to reinforce theoretical knowledge.
• Assess, record, and report student progress using both formative and summative assessments.
• Prepare students for A-Level examinations with targeted instruction, past paper practice, and exam strategies.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and inquiry-based classroom environment that promotes curiosity and critical thinking.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, cross-disciplinary projects, and academic initiatives.
• Participate in school events, extracurricular science activities, and professional development programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Recognized teaching qualification (B.Ed., PGCE, or equivalent).
• Proven experience teaching Biology at A-Level or similar advanced programs (IB, AP).
• Strong knowledge of Cambridge A-Level Biology syllabus and assessment requirements.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and laboratory management skills.
• Passion for inspiring students to explore science through both theory and practice.
