Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated A Level Accounting Teacher to join our international school team. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge A-Level Accounting curriculum, helping students develop a strong understanding of financial principles, business accounting, and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Accounting lessons in line with Cambridge A-Level standards.
- Teach topics such as financial statements, budgeting, ratio analysis, cost accounting, and financial management.
- Assess, record, and report student progress through regular formative and summative assessments.
- Prepare students for A-Level Accounting examinations by providing focused instruction and exam techniques.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Use real-world examples and case studies to connect theory with practical accounting applications.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and interdisciplinary projects.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Recognized teaching qualification (B.Ed., PGCE, or equivalent).
- Proven experience teaching Accounting at A-Level or similar advanced programs (IB, AP).
- Strong knowledge of Cambridge A-Level Accounting syllabus and assessment requirements.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for financial education and preparing students for real-world accounting challenges.
