Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced A Level Physics Teacher to join our international school team. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the Cambridge A-Level Physics curriculum, inspiring students to explore advanced concepts in mechanics, electricity, waves, and modern physics while preparing them for academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and rigorous Physics lessons aligned with Cambridge A-Level standards.
- Teach topics such as mechanics, thermal physics, electricity, magnetism, oscillations, and quantum physics.
- Design and supervise laboratory experiments and practical activities to reinforce theoretical knowledge.
- Assess, record, and report student progress through formative and summative assessments.
- Prepare students for A-Level examinations, providing exam-focused strategies and past paper practice.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages inquiry, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum planning and cross-disciplinary projects.
- Participate in school events, science fairs, extracurricular activities, and professional development sessions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Recognized teaching qualification (B.Ed., PGCE, or equivalent).
- Proven experience teaching Physics at A-Level or equivalent advanced programs (IB, AP).
- Strong knowledge of Cambridge A-Level Physics syllabus and assessment requirements.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and laboratory management skills.
- Passion for inspiring students and fostering a deep understanding of scientific concepts.
